Tool and Parts Attendant

Issues, receives and schedules use of equipment, tools and repair/paint stalls for patrons. Uses chit or other parts assignment system for accountability of assigned tools. Determines type of repair job involved and suggests a variety of tools needed to accomplish the repair. Provides instructions to customers on cleaning processes, soiled rag disposal, sweeping and cleanup of repair or pit stall and removal of excess automotive parts. Ensures tools turned-in are clean, assesses breakage or damage if any; charging customer for tools according to prescribed price listing. Operates cash register and accounts for cash using established procedures. Maintains inventory control records of items issued, conducts minor maintenance and repair of tools and equipment. Experience: Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools and parts; good work shop practices to include setting up and maintain a neat, well organized and secure storage area; inventory procedures and records maintenance. Must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service. Must be able to follow written and/or oral instructions, make simple mathematical computations and be able to follow cash handling procedures. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Must be able to life objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds.You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
