The Human Resources Generalist III will work collaboratively with program management as a business partner and point of contact to provide superior human resources services to our clients. Participate in job fairs, seminars, and visit professional organizations to help build working relationships and to market the client department's positions.
Coordinate advertising to assist in diversity recruiting efforts. Post open positions, pre-screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews and engage new hires throughout the on-boarding process.
Compose correspondence, directives, speeches, presentations, etc.; prepare drafts on various departmental matters and edit material as required.
Assist with the development and revision of policies and procedures, as well as recruiting strategies. Proactively support other functions in HR in coordination with program management as needed, such as Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits Administration and Labor Relations.
This is a hands on position that requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization.
Principal Position
Responsibilities:
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies and helping resolve work-related problems.
Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment and recommend needed changes.
Collaborate with the staffing personnel and perform staffing duties, including reductions in force, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
Plan and conduct On-boarding orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
Process and verify personnel related documentation, including training, grievances and performance evaluations, movement, classifications, employee leaves of absence and termination.
Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.
Develop, interpret and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
Investigate and report on employee relations grievances and hotline reports.
Study legislation and arbitration decisions to assess industry trends.
Examine exit interviews feedback to identify to identify and determine causes of turnover and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices. Trends.
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.
Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the Human Resources field.
Employee Relations
Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Provides expertise in strategy development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations efforts.
Proactively manage employee relations needs to support an environment of integrity, respect, collaboration and effective communications.
Provide appropriate communications to effectively enforce policies.
Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Handle staff relations and communications sensitively and responsively resulting in increased staff morale, employee satisfaction and retention.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provide data to the state's unemployment commission, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
Benefits
Develops and/or administers company employee benefits and compensation programs.
Supervises specialists in benefits areas and may be responsible for HRIS functions.
Provide counseling and oversee communications of benefits to employees.
Evaluate present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of benefit trends and/or vendor management to ensure plans are competitive and current.
HRIS
Implements and maintains specially designed human resources information systems and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information.
Recommends, implements, and plans for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system.
Provides retrieval ability to produce employee information for analysis and decision making, statistical data, and other employee-related reports as required.
Maintains, develops, and revises all manuals, tables, code lists, and documentation.
May support several functional applications. Combines Human Resource knowledge with information retrieval skills.
Management Responsibility: Influence change and support in a matrixed organization.
LI-LP1
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
At least six (6) years of experience in human resources as a Generalist.
Good experience and knowledge of SCA and working US government contracts in the Aerospace industry.
Experience Required:
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Applications especially databases.
At least four (4) years SAP or other HRIS experience required.
Possess a high degree of proficiency in assigned function and attention to details.
Able to work in a fast paced organization during a period of rapid growth or transition, has managed a business partnership function supporting a geographically dispersed workforce, and has a proven track record of success in implementing leading HR solutions and enhancing systems and processes.
Able to travel to include internationally.
Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
Four (4) or more years' experience in dealing with Employee Relations such as legal and regulatory issues, employee conduct, performance management, and policies and practices.
Effective communicator. Writes, speaks and presents effectively. Express ideas, thoughts, and concepts clearly and concisely, making solid case to gain understanding and influence results.
Strong relationship building capabilities and team building efforts.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
