Job Description: The Materials Manager will lead the materials team for planning and procurement of materials, material flow, production scheduling and the management and control of inventory in achieving customer satisfaction. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide direct daily supervision of the materials staff
Will lead materials team to ensure on time supplier delivery, cost reduction initiatives and inventory reduction goals.
Ensure that all materials both purchased and manufactured are available to support manufacturing.
Will lead the planning, scheduling, coordinating of materials through the production cycle
Will work to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions
Will monitor production schedules, raw material, WIP and finished goods to support company goals
Education: A BS degree in business, engineering or related field is highly desired. Those who meet all other requirements with demonstrated experience in the field will be considered.
Experience:
Must have excellent communication and leadership skills
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership position in materials
Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and APICS certification a plus
Experience with planning, scheduling, coordination of materials in a manufacturing environment
Experience in the understanding of inventory procedures with a heavy focus on the materials planning processesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
