Performs aircraft/ AGE washing, lubrication, and cleaning tasks IA W applicable technical dataPerforms on and off-equipment maintenanceTows aircraft/ AGE to support the corrosion control shopApplies protective tape and paper and removes after task completionPerforms tasks with minimum supervision.Removes and replaces panels and cowlings during performance of duties, to be inspected by certified personnel for final check.Operates required AGE and portable firefighting equipmentAnnotates maintenance actions in aircraft records and required forms and is knowledgeable in CAMS documentation.Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOO awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.May be assigned to maintain TO files, bench stock, shop stock, CTKs, or hazardous waste areas.Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directedMust promote Company values, policies, and standards of conduct.Must be customer-oriented and ensure professional coordination with base agencies.Shall perform other duties assigned to include TOY and travel.Must be able to workday shift, night shift, or weekend duty as required.Receives cross-utilization training (CUT) and is qualified to perform those maintenance tasksQualificationsREQUIRED
Qualifications:
Must possess the knowledge and capability to use common hand toolsMust possess basic mechanical abilityA working knowledge of corrosion theory is desiredThrough instruction must acquire knowledge of applicable material, technical data, and safety precautions to be taken during aircraft washing operationsHigh school diploma or the equivalent is requiredMust be able to read, using respirator, must be able to obtain good face piece-to-face sealMust be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driver's licensePhysical exertion requirement is mediumRESPONSIBILITIES SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
